Front Row Recording is a professional recording facility nestled in the heart of the Schoharie Valley, at 207 Mill Valley Rd in Middleburgh, NY.
We are just 2.5 hours from NYC and 45 Minutes from Albany, NY. The studio and our engineers promise to deliver a superior quality recording that you will be proud of.
We specialize in hard rock, alternative, and heavy metal productions, but welcome artists of all genres of music.
About Us
Long-time musician and Valley Stream native John Iadevaio (Wicked Maraya) started his music career when he was just 12 years old. After many years of
honing his craft as a heavy metal musician, Iadevaio and his Wicked Maraya band mates were fortunate enough to land a recording contract with legendary heavy metal record label, Mausoleum Records. In 1993, Iadevaio and Wicked Maraya entered the recording studio with producer/engineer Jim Morris (Iced Earth, Death, Crimson Glory). It was then that Iadevaio realized he had the passion and desire to be on the opposite side of the glass in a recording studio.
“In 2003, I began working with Pro Tools recording and producing my own music, along with producing local Long Island alternative/rock and metal bands,” Iadevaio explained. “This led to a demand for me to open my personal recording
studio...and Front Row Recording was born.”

Local Attractions
In our backyard is one of the most desirable hiking trails in the area, Vroman's Nose. Enjoy the
beautiful views of the valley when you reach the top.
We are located approximately 1 mile to Main Street in the village of Middleburgh, where you
will find all the fine dining you need and local shops to explore.
Just a 15 minute drive you will find Cobleskill NY, which is home of SUNY Cobleskill, Walmart, and many more shops, restaurants and pubs for a fun night out on the town.
Transportation
We will provide transportation to and from Albany International Airport (ALB) area for our out of town clients. Albany airport has direct flights from at least nine different airport hubs and serves multiple carriers such as; American, Delta, Avelo, Jet Blue, Breeze, Frontier and United.
NYC also offers direct Amtrak trains along with Greyhound buses to and from Albany.
Accommodations
For our out of town clients, we will also provide lodging for the band/artist. This includes
sleeping quarters, a full kitchen, living room and bathroom.
If you need further accommodations, we have a beautiful farmhouse, Farmhouse Under The
Nose, which can be booked through Airbnb.com for outside guests
